The West Georgia Swim Club is a non-profit, USA Swim Club and a recreation Swim Team. We have many levels of swimmers from novice to state competitors.

Since 2005, the PIRANHAS have earned the reputation as one of the leading swim teams in West Georgia.  The Piranhas provide an opportunity to learn all competitive strokes, starts and turns in a fun and team based atmosphere.  Our coaches are knowledgeable and certified USA swim coaches who make learning fun and whose students progress quickly, develop good strokes and love aquatics.

Head Coach, Kim Fundora, swam competitively for 13 years and participated in open water swims.  She was the Assistant Swim Coach for the West Haven Wizards who boasted 150 swimmers and the Head Coach for the Chapel Hill Sharks Subdivision Swim Team.

The Piranhas have a year-round team that offers practices all throughout the year at Boundary Waters Aquatic Center, where they have practiced since its opening.  WGSC also offers additional practices in the summer at Tributary Riverbanks Competition Pool. The Piranhas have an open, ongoing registration and encourages you to "come try us out."!!!

If you'd like more information about the Piranhas and how your child can become a part of WGSC, contact Kim Fundora by email or phone: westgeorgiaswimclub@yahoo.com or 770.255.8878, or download our Parent Information Welcome Packet. You will need the free Adobe Reader to access it.
